General
What is Brand Autopilot?
A platform for planning, writing, approving and publishing social media for one or more companies, each in its own brand voice, with a person approving every post. You can use it with your own team, or have us run your channels with it.
Who is it for?
Businesses that run more than one brand or channel, marketing teams who need approvals, and agencies managing several clients. It started with an events company and an IT services company.
Who is behind it?
Brand Autopilot is a product of Utawazi Dev. & Branding Limited, a company in Nairobi, Kenya.
How do I get an account?
Accounts are by invitation while we run our pilot. The route is: request access, a short onboarding call where we set up your company's workspace and invite its owner, then a 7-day free trial. The owner invites the rest of the team.
AI and approvals
Does the AI post on its own?
No post is published without a person's approval. The only exception is comment replies, and only if a company turns on automatic replies for a brand; those run within a daily limit and hold risky comments back for a person.
Which AI do you use?
Claude, made by Anthropic. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, what we send is not used to train its models.
Will the posts sound like us?
Every draft is written from your Brand Blueprint and checked against it, including words and claims to avoid. Your team can edit any draft before approving it.
Can I approve my own posts?
By default, a second person must approve every post before it goes out. A company's owner can turn this off so that owners, admins and managers may approve their own posts; everyone else always needs an approver, and every self-approval is recorded in the activity log.
Channels
Which networks are supported?
Facebook Pages, Instagram professional accounts, LinkedIn company Pages, TikTok, YouTube and Shorts, WhatsApp Business broadcasts, and WordPress or Ghost blogs.
Do you support X (Twitter)?
Not at the moment. X charges for the API access posting needs, so we have left it out for now.
Do I give you my social media passwords?
Never. You connect each account with the network's own sign-in, and we store only the access tokens it issues, sealed so only our publishing service can use them.
Can you post to WhatsApp Status or Channels?
No. Meta offers no API for Status or Channels. We send broadcasts to contacts who opted in, through the official WhatsApp Business Cloud API.
Pricing and payments
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Once we have set up your company's workspace, it gets a 7-day free trial, with no payment needed. After that it can stay on the Free plan or pay for a plan.
How can I pay?
By M-Pesa or card, through Paystack's secure checkout, by the month, or for 14 days with a Campaign Pass. You are charged in Kenyan shillings.
Will I be charged automatically?
Only if you pay by card and tick “Renew automatically” at checkout. Saving a card is a separate choice, and a saved card is never charged unless auto-renew is on. M-Pesa payments never renew. An owner can turn auto-renew off or remove the card at any time.
What counts as one post?
One piece of content published to one network. The same update on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn uses three posts. Limits are shared by every brand in your company.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, in the cases our billing and refund policy describes.
Data and security
Can other companies on the platform see our data?
No. Each company is a separate workspace, and the database itself keeps them apart.
How do I delete my data?
Disconnect accounts in Channels to delete their tokens, or ask us to delete your account or your company's workspace.
What happens to old media files?
Nothing is removed unless the company owner agrees a retention policy. Even then, owners get notice and a zip download first, and can keep any file.
