Data deletion

You can ask us to delete the data we hold about you at any time. This page explains how, for each kind of data. It is part of our privacy policy.

Data a social network shared with us

When you connect Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp Business, LinkedIn, TikTok or YouTube, the network shares the account or page name and ID and an access token. To delete it:

1. Sign in to Brand Autopilot and open Channels.
2. Find the account and choose Disconnect. Its stored tokens are deleted at once, and we can no longer reach the account.
3. You can also remove our app's access from the network's own settings, for example in Facebook's settings under Apps and websites or Business integrations, or in your Google, LinkedIn or TikTok account's connected apps.

Comments, engagement numbers and publishing records that came from that account are deleted along with the workspace, or sooner if you ask us, as described below.

If you cannot sign in, or you are not a customer

If you removed our app on Facebook or another network, or you commented on a business's post and want that comment data removed, email privacy@utawaziea.com or use our contact page with the topic “Privacy or data deletion”. Tell us:

• your name and the email address you use with us, if any;
• the network and the account, page, or profile name concerned;
• what you want deleted.

We may ask you to confirm you control the account before we act. We confirm when the deletion is done, and complete it within 30 days.

Your user account

Ask a company owner to remove you from the workspace, or email us to delete your account entirely. We delete your name, email, sign-in details and passkeys. Actions you took stay in the company's audit log, which the law and security require us to keep, but are no longer linked to a live account.

A whole company workspace

A company owner can ask us to close the workspace. Before we do, the owner can download the company's media as a zip. We then delete the workspace's brands, blueprints, posts, media, contacts, comments and connected accounts within 30 days.

WhatsApp contacts

If a business messaged you through Brand Autopilot, reply STOP to stop all further messages. To have your number deleted, ask the business, or email us with the business's name and your number.

What we keep

We keep only what the law requires, such as payment and tax records, and security logs for a limited time. Copies in backups are removed as those backups expire.
